Join SafeGuards and the Educational Justice Coalition for the first LGBTQ Youth Empowerment Fair (YEF) on October 9, 2009 from 4 to 8pm.  The purpose of the YEF2009 is to bring LGBTQ Youth, employers, educators and social/medical service providers together under one roof to break down barriers and show LGBTQ youth the range of possibilities open to them as they plan their future. 

Youth will be able to: meet potential employers, find out more about careers that interest them, meet with people from area colleges and trade schools, find out more about educational programs, and find out more about health and social services in the community.
